Dr. med. Barbara Wilhelm, Special research interests within pupil investigation are spontaneous pupillary oscillations reflecting the level of central nervous activity, their physiological and anatomical background and mechanisms modulating the oscillations. During the past years development and standardization of the Pupillographic Sleepiness Test and introduction of the method into German sleep medicine. Member of the German Sleep Medical Society (DGSM) and the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS).
